How to prepare for your first clinic visit.

Before the appointment

Carry identification, previous prescriptions, test reports, current medicine details, and written questions for the clinician.

Record allergies, current medicines, symptom timing, previous diagnoses, and any changes since your last visit.

At and after the visit

Confirm the clinician, fee, expected wait, and follow-up process. Ask what each medicine is for, how to take it, warning signs, and which tests are needed.

Keep prescriptions and reports safely, note warning signs, dosage instructions, follow-up date, and any tests required before review.
